Everyone who finished high school within the last hundred years has had a list of books that they have had to read for English class. Mostly American and British works written at least one hundred years ago are what comprise the list of must-reads. Most people probably never actually read any of the books that were on the list, but instead utilized Cliff’s Notes or Spark Notes. But if you didn’t read them, you really did miss out on some classics. The following is a brief list of classics that you should read now, especially if you didn’t read them in high school.
